Před časem jsme dokončili stojan pro vyřazenou měřící optiku. Tato optika CARL ZEISS má v pohledu dvě stupnice, kde lze s jednou pohybovat pomocí mikrometru. Rozlišení měřící stupnice je 0,01 mm a díky tomu můžeme bezkontaktně měřit velmi malé díly s dostatečnou přesností. Stojan je kompletně vyroben ze slitiny hliníku, posuvová mechanika se skládá z lineárního vedení s jedním vozíkem a z kuličkového šroubu pro přesné polohování. Ke krytování posuvové mechaniky jsme opět využili ověřené látkové harmonické měchy, které jsme před časem vyráběli pro naši frézku. K výrobě měchů byl poprvé využitý náš nový CO2 laser. Kryt centrální části je vytištěný z abs plastu.

Přestože se může zdát, že na ničem už nepracujeme, tak opak je pravdou! Již brzy zveřejníme náš nový projekt, na kterém usilovně pracujeme poslední rok. Je to zatím náš nejpropracovanější stroj, jaký jsme kdy vytvořili a určitě se máte na co těšit!

Dočkali jsme se. Po čtyřech měsících čekání nám došel nový minipočítač LattePanda. Jedná se o první startup mladého čínského týmu, který jsme podpořili v kampani na Kickstarteru.

Počítač má čtyřjádrový procesor Intel Atom Cherry Trail pracující v turboboostu až 1.8 GHz s integrovanou grafikou na 500 MHz. Náš model má 4 GB paměti RAM typu DDR3L a 64 GB flash paměť typu eMMC (dělá se i levnější verze s 4GB RAM a 32GB flash). Integrovaná je Wifi a Bluetooth 4.0. Z konektorů je zde HDMI, dvakrát USB 2.0 a jednou USB 3.0, RJ45, audio Jack, slot pro micro SD kartu, konektor pro dotykovou vrstvu, konektor na LCD, 20 GPIO z Arduina, 10 GPIO z procesoru Intel (obsahuje sériový port), konektor na WiFi anténu a napájecí micro USB. Součástí desky je také Arduino s mikročipem Atmega32u4 (s bootloaderem Arduino Leonardo). Velikost je srovnatelná s Raspberry Pi. Koupili jsme rozšířenou verzi se 7” LCD a dotykovou vrstvou, která zvládá až 5 prstů současně. Celé se to napájí 5V a odběr je okolo 2A (na trafo pod 2A se to buď nerozjede vůbec nebo se to náhodně samo vypne).

Za cenu £121, což je 4160 Kč, jsme dostali minipočítač, 7” LCD, dotykovou vrstvu (samostatně na přilepení), dřevěnou krabičku (na složení :)), HDMI kabel, USB kabel a velice úžasné 2 A USB trafo s americkou koncovkou.

Poslední důležitou informací je, že na tom běží plnohodnotné Windows 10 (předinstalována je verze Home). Systém funguje svižně a videa se přehrávají plynule. Zatím první vážným problémem je přehřívání, které je patrné už po 10 minutách, kdy není zapnutá žádná aplikace. Tento problém budeme asi řešit dvěma chladiči (shora a zdola) a ventilátorem zboku.

Nový počítač použijeme na náš nový stroj na automatizovanou výrobu ozubených kol, který budeme stavět v následujících měsících.
